Challenge #5: Happy Little Stampers CAS May Challenge: Die Cuts and/or Punches by Loll. I punched out my butterfly with the Mixed Media paper then sponged ink, spritzed with water let dry. Turned over and used my stylus and foam pad (Loll has a video! ) to add a nice shape and sponged more ink around the edgs of butterfly. Finally added Wink of Stella and pearls to butterfly and flying trail.
Thanks to all the hosts of these awesome challenges and to Lee-Anne and Loll for fun techniques.
My card is for our DD Kristi's Birthday :-)

Gorgeous card. LOVE the background technique. Lee-Anne's video is so awesome. I played with the technique this afternoon, so will be adding some cards soon with my makes! Love the pretty colour of your butterfly Nancy, really pops on the softer colours of the background. Thanks for playing along at Mixed Media Card Challenge and Happy Little Stampers. xx

Nancy, this turned out SO beautifully! This is on my to-do list! Lee-Anne does create some of the greatest backgrounds I've seen. I LOVE your pastels on this and what a beautiful bleed of color!

Oh, oh - I have that stencil and I never ever thought of using it with this technique! Thanks for the inspiration - and for adding that sparkly shimmery butterfly to the WT butterfly garden.
