I unearthed some Radiant Pearls this morning. I haven't used them in years! I had to revisit a couple of tutorials on using them. I do remember that I loved how they blend. I used a stipple brush to create a multi-shade blue background. Then I inked my fern from Butterfly Basics with the green radiant pearls and used a small sprig stamp to fill in at the bottom. I stamped my dragon fly and painted in some yellow and orange. Then a added Iridescent Ice embossing power over the whole thing. I didn't want to wait the hours and hours for this to dry. (The downside that I remember from Radiant Pearls.) I heat set this and then after went back with a couple of fine point Micron pens to retouch details in the dragonfly and add a stem to the ferns. I stamped my greeting with Stazon Black ink. I used a stamp positioner as it needed three stampings to get it dark enough over the textured Embossing powder. I reheated lightly around the greeting to set it.
So the funny part of this story is that my stipple brushes sit brush side up in a large cup near my stamping table on a ledge near my window. I don't use them often and after I started stippling on the Radiant Pearls, I discovered that they were excellent collectors of cat fur. So I had to clean off the car fur from my card and my brushed and try again. I think I got most of it off the card!
My texture on this comes from the Iridescent Ice embossing over the entire card front and does the cat fur count?

I will bet this really sparkles in real life! It's beautiful. So glad you pulled out some old stuff - not familiar with radiant pearls though, but what a lovely result.

This has such a pretty shimmer and sparkle to it. The ferns and the dragonfly look like the sun is shining off them. Your blue bg is lovely. So glad that you made this for the challenge.
