to make those tabs. You pull the edge of the card stock into the punch from above/over the 2" wide track that we use to make tags with. Then on your paper trimmer, it's obvious where you will trim away the card stock to each side of the punched tab.
Sizing (scoring) the card:
Score at the typical 4 1/4" away from the one edge of the card/stock and fold your card there, in half.
Now you will ONLY SCORE ALONG THE ONE TAB on the back side of your card so that it will bend over to the card front for ribbon-tying. There is no need to score the tab that's "on" the card front.
