Loved the challenge this week. Sorry I am late...technical difficulties with the blinkity-blank camera! sigh*.... I tried to keep it simple to concentrate on the watercoloured image. I stamped with sahara sand then filled in the image with inks and my aqua pen. I think I like the traditional watercolour brush method better than the aqua pen just because I can get better water control with the brush. I found these cute little charms a thousand years ago in the bridal aisle at Mikes for almost 'free'. They have lasted a long, long time!!

Your blossom is colored so beautifully....like hand-painted porcelain of old, Sue. The gingham vertical panel and black framing complete the card wonderfully.

Now Mrs. Noofy, let correct you here, if I might. You couldn't possibly have found those 'next to nothing' trinkets a thousand years ago. I'll cut you some slack here if let's try to be more realistic in the future. Now to your card. Oh, I love your WC. I try and try to shade by the ink gets everywhere. Your coloring is just spectacular on your floral image. Glad you kept everything in the bg gentle, because you flower deserves front and center stage.

Oh My Gosh, you have me ROTFLOL!!! You are just way too funny, Sue! Thanks for the giggles today! This water colored image looks Beautiful to me, but hey, if you can accomplish coloring a better way, then go for it! Still wishing we had a "free" section at our Mike's, but since Hobby Lobby is moving in soon and just a 1/2 mile away, maybe Mike's will give better deals.....

This is such a beautifully elegant card. Your water colour is beautifully framed by that black lacy die and I love the bright splash of pink from the gingham panel. Love the way you "find" things from the past to use too.

Wow, Sue! Your watercoloring is fabulous! How soft and beautiful your image is and love that you kept the card simpler to draw the eye to it! Your shading is just gorgeous on this. How I wish this would happen for me. Agreed about the aqua brush too. Mine always leak all over the place.
