My second creation using the Color Burst watercolor pigments which really makes watercolor easy.
The images were heat embossed with ultra fine black powder and for the deer I covered the stamp with VersaMark and black ink over the top to help avoid white spaces after embossing but I did get a few and used a Sharpie black marker to fill in.
I placed a small amount of Color Burst in a plastic painter's pallet, picked it up with a wet brush and placed it on the already wet watercolor paper with no concern if it ventured onto the tree trunks however when needed the heat embossing helps stop the flow of water and color.

Gorgeous! What a wonderful background for the trees - which look fantastic! Love the deer in the foreground!
