Congratulations Francie (f.schles) on being featured stamper FS429. I loved looking through your beautiful gallery. Here is the card that inspired me H=hycct1403 washie daisy
For my base card I used many different scraps of pink designer papers. I placed them on a diagonal, matted with burgundy dp. Sewed around edge. I had the flower already made in my stash. I had inked up the flower with pink and then inked up the itty bitty flower design stamp with red and then kissed it to the flower stamp (kissing technique). I cut out the flower. Made the stem and leaves. Placed on background and sewed the stem and leaves. Attached the crotched flower and red paper flower to the centre of the large flower with a brad. Tied the tag on with string.
Thanks for looking.
Hugs..Pat

This is gorgeous, Pat. You surpassed my card.... I can never get stitching to work on my cards. My sewing machine always eats my paper. I love your layered flowers, especially the crocheted one. Thanks so much for playiny in the challenge.

This evokes such a peaceful feeling, of hand stitched love and care. I love the colors, the texture, the folk-art feel, and sweet tag for the sentiment. Great take in the original, which was beautiful too.

I can see this has been done with love. It's really Beautiful! The variety of prints is striking. And the stitching pulls it all together wonderfully. The little crocheted flower is a loving touch. tfs
