Welcome to this week's Color Challenge. We're getting a little frisky with our color titles, aren't we? This week it's "I get a CRUSH on you when we TANGO and MAMBO!" Hence, the name of this card, Dancing Flowers. The colors this week are Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango and Melon Mambo. The dessert option is to use some green on your card. I chose Old Olive as my green color.
I am loving this new-to-me set from Altenew, Painted Flowers. I used only this week's ink colors, stamping off each time before stamping the base layer of the flowers and leaves, and then stamping full strength for the shading layer. Then finally the black outlines on top. My card was inspired by a card created by Donna Mikasa that I found on Pinterest. This stamp set is a wonderfully forgiving multi-step set! I made several mistakes while stamping these flowers, but I'll bet you can't find them (if you can, don't tell me!). And yes, I bought the whole set of A Dozen Thoughts, just to get that one "just because" stamp!
Please play along with us this week, and thanks for stopping by!
