todays inspiration site is NOVICA and what a beautiful site... when I saw this scarf and what looked like Christmas trees at the bottom, I immediately wanted to add to my Christmas cards...not having a mother in my life, other than the nuns in the convent I thought it would be appropriate to make a Christmas card even though I didnt get to celebrate Christmas until I was an adult...anyway, I found some dp that looked like the colours in the scarf, cut out a triangle with cs and added the punched leaves to it to make the tree, then added bling...I took another piece of white cs and sponged a scene on it, added birds in the sky and waves in the water, then placed window over top of it (had to cut a portion off it so it would fit) and cut out a little curtain from the dp....the sentiment which means Merry Christmas in Hawaii was placed on the card, one letter at a time... that is why it is not exactly straight in some places...
Thanks for taking a peek... Hope you like it...

It really is a gorgeous Christmas card, but what impresses me the most is how you took your inspiration piece and came up with this fantastic card. Love how your artistic mind works, and you share it with us. Fav'd
