When I checked the challenge yesterday, it wasn’t up yet. But I read in a comment I think from Sabrina, “time in a bottle”. That stuck with me so when I got home I drew this bottle with a clock in it. Oh, and a fish and a flower. hehe
DidnÂ’t have time to color it yesterday but wanted to use the image I drew, so today I colored it with Prisma Pencils and gamsol. I just had to try MariLynnÂ’s smash technique so I painted over it with rubber cement to mask it.
On the smash technique, I used acrylic paint and a little water, closed the bag and ran my brayer over it to “smash” the paint. Opened the bag and laid my card down. Once dry I rubbed off the rubber cement, added some texture with a stencil and light molding paste and a few stampings of my go to mixed media stamp from Pam Carriker.
Put this all on a white card. Done. I wanted to put this in the f4a challenge but didnÂ’t know how this would work for a wedding card or anniversary card. heheÂ…Â…TFL :0)

Diane, I LOVE your suggestion for an anniversary card. Too funny. I might just save this for when mine comes around. hehe :0)

Wow! Your free-hand drawing skills rock! How cute is this! Time in a bottle - perfect for the challenge. Very clever! What a fun card. Great job with all the challenges. I do suppose it could work for an anniversary with the words to tie it together - "Nothing fishy about it, I treasure our time together!" LOL Wonderful card. TFS

Cathy, this is fabulous. I love your drawing of time in a bottle. I love the little clock. All Salvador Dali like. Love the texture paste. I'm glad you played along with my challenge.
