This is a bridal shower card for a friend's daughter. It's created from some absolutely gorgeous paper that was a RAK from stiz2003 (Nancy). It has a beautiful sheen!
I cut the card base, background layer, frame, umbrella and scroll from the Champagne paper, and cut the frame and umbrella three more times from heavy cream cardstock. The base layer was cut with a stitched rectangle die and stamped and embossed. It's very subtle, but really has an impact. The frame layers were adhered with Sookwang tape, and the umbrella layers with Multi Medium. I cut the invitation with the frame die and used the negative piece behind the umbrella.
I really like this - it's so elegant!
As always, thanks for looking!

Absolutely LOVE all the wonderful framing - with the stitched die and even the one that is not stitched - that background is amazing, no doubt one of Nancy's trips into the gelli plate or Brushos world she has in her craft room - stunning "movement" in the way the paint/ink is swirled, and the perfect place to seat your VERY fancy umbrella - this one is a delight for the eyes!!
