Here they are the Erpup brothers, Wyatt and Morgan. They're about to put their cards on the table or perhaps pull a card from up their sleeve..in any case one of these brothers will be cashing in their chips soon. I hope no one was dealt a bad hand.
I had to make a mirror image of the stamp on the left side. If there's a tutorial for it I gave up looking . Here's my version of mirror stamping... I stamped my image on the rubber sheet I use to shim my Cuttlebug and then I press the paper on top. It turned out pretty well although I had to fill in with a black sharpie where the lines were lighter. I added the ribbon as trim since this scene does take place in a fancy saloon. Of course I had to have the obligatory "dogs playing poker" picture in the background (ok it's still cracking me up that I thought of that..)..anyway...hope you like these "pup" brothers.

Polly, this is outrageously clever! I spotted the dogs playing poker in the background right away and laughed out loud! Great job with the mirror stamping, and setting the scene with the ribbon is perfect! Your backstory was pretty darn cute, too! Thanks for playing in my challenge!

Wow Polly this is pure over-the-top fabulous. Everything I look I see something new. That is some serious fussy cutting!!!! What a great idea to use the rubber tan cuttlebug mat. I would never have thought of that...genius.

Polly, this is ingenious - ? correct word! Wonderfully smart! I also noticed the poker playing icon in the background. Your double stamped dogs are so well done! Some one will be lucky to receive this! tfs

What a fantastic card Pol!!! Love how you did the mirror image of the doggie card players! The artwork in the background is perfect!!! I have seen so many variations of that painting over the years, it just makes me smile! Excellent card, so creative and super FUN!!!

Oh Polly, this has put a BIG grin on my face, from the punny names for the dogs to the beautiful setting, including that picture in the background! Love the parquet flooring type paper for the foreground, too. And the expressions on the Erpups' faces - hilarious! I think they could take Rerun for all he has got.
I think there is a tutorial, it might be called reflection rather than mirror. And I have never had much luck with it, no matter what I use for my "mirror" surface.
