I love the quote by Thoreau included in the Stampin' Up! Moon Lake set. I should have stamped the sentiment in a darker color. I love inking up a piece of wadded plastic wrap to "stamp" backgrounds.

great card. Love the background technique. I will have to try it. The feathers look great. I just got that set and haven't done anything with it yet, but see that I need to get to it!!!!

So cool! Would you believe I found three small feathers today, when I was working on my lawn. One was of a blue jay.....I don't know about the others.

The waded up plastic wrap is a favorite of mine too and often I swipe different shades over the paper and then spritz with water - give a certain amount of control as opposed to the smash technique. This would be great for a man or a woman.
