I was so pleased to see that our Featured Stamper this week is Francie (f. schles). She's been one of my favorites for a long time, not only for the art she creates, but for her wonderful descriptions as well. She is so deserving of this honor! I knew exactly which card I wanted to CASE. I kept the row house theme and changed just about everything else.
I first cut scored and folded the card base, and did a partial die cut with a circle die to create a base for the sun. I created a mask of the houses using a Post-it note and created the top row of houses on the card base. I stamped a second row on scrap card stock and fussy cut them.
Everything was colored with Spectrum Noir pens and clear glaze added to the windows. The sun got a light layer of Wink of Stella. The sky was too plain, so I used a blender pen to create clouds. I added white Prismacolor pencil and outlines them with a black pen.
Francie, this was a little rushed, but I wanted to create in card in your honor. I hope you like it!

This is such a fun neighborhood, JodyLynn, that I want to live there! The bright colors remind me of either Galveston or Charleston w/ all their bright painted ladies (houses).

A little rushed and you came up with this? Masking, fussy cutting and coloring all take time and what an outstanding job you did casing her card! Love how you did the sun on this and also the dimension you added to the front row of houses! Beautifully done!

What an adorable CASE of Francie's beautiful card! I love that you used such fun, bright colors. I thought your clouds were stamped and your sun placement is super.
