This is my card and envelope for Linda's Ways to Use It Challenge WT528 - Inside and Out.
What a great challenge this week! I love making my own envelopes and decorating the inside of the card. Today I used a set from Wplus9 called, Folk Art Florals, for the front of the card, and a set from Penny Black called, Natures' Wishes to decorate both the inside of the card and the right back corner of the envelope (sorry no photo for that). I placed my stamped image above the sentiment inside so I would have some room for a personal greeting below the sentiment. The images were colored with Prismacolored Pencils. And to finish the card off I used some Wink of Stella and some pretty sequins I just received from Lucy's Cards in England. Lovely little sparkles I must say. I put a little liner inside the envelope as well (changed up the color).
Tip: To add some interest to a solid stamp let it dry and then add some pencil. As you can see there is a bit of two-tone to the leaves (that's the pencil). A little more interesting than just solid.
Thank you Linda for a fun challenge this week. Loved it! And thanks everyone for your visits.

You always add just the right finishing touches to make a card special! Love the shading on a solid stamp and it's beautifully done! I also love the lined envelope in a contrasting color and what a wonderful combination it is! Fantastic card, Susie!

Susie, the stitched look around the edge gives your card such a warm, homespun feel, just like the old fashioned image ! The sentiment could not be more perfect and the sequins make a quick and easy embellishment, with the bulk or weight. Love the polka dotted paper on the side , and INside the envelope! Hugs!

Wow, this is beautiful. I love the image, and the shading, on a solid stamped image is a great tip. I love the stitched look on the edges, and love the dotted dp's. Love that the envelope liner, coordinates with the image panel color. this is a gorgeous card. tfs.
