Congratulations to this week's Featured Stamper, Mary J (maryj6. Mary has a beautiful gallery with lots of variety in her style, and she sure can color! I started coloring this cute little bear on Sunday but got busy this week and did not finish it. So when I saw this week's Sketch Challenge, I took advantage of that. The bear is the same Mary's "James," but my bear is working on his laptop - ah, how cute! I chose this card because I loved her little teddy bear James from Lili of the Valley. I changed the layout and have my bear in a square frame, and added a sentiment to the right rather than centered. After coloring my "chocolate" teddy (teddies come in a range of yummy colors!), I chose my DP and then kept to the sketch adding some perle cotton and a button. I added a small scalloped border and did some paper-piercing. This card will be headed to New Jersey to thank our youngest son for visiting us last week. We had a wonderful time, and he is very techie (like his dad) and will hopefully get a chuckle out of James. (And our son has also seen my collection of teddy bears - quite the family I have here!)
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it. Have a great week! For more, visit my blog.

Oh, Cheryl, your papers are divine. You've added the sweet little punch to your edges, too. OMGosh, this little techie is just the greatest thing since sliced bread. wow, you are so blessed with your talents. Everyone should take the time and check out your work. It's like taking a mini vacation. I get lost in your cards, sweet girl. Just wonderful.

Looks like Teddy has some problems with the computer and needs some help (don't we all). This is just another special card - so beautifully coloured and matched with that perfect design paper. Now that is my type of bow! he he

Oh it is love at first sight, Cheryl. This bear stole my heart as soon as I saw him. He looks so cuddly and much more comfortable on the computer than me. You do the most wonderful job coloring... the highlights on the bear are Terrific. Such a great card for your techie son.
