I actually started this card on Tuesday but have only got back to finishing it this afternoon. Love the colours Karen chose this week and I opted for dessert to make a shabby chic card. I am also including this in today's WTUI Challenge - inside of a card. I always decorate the inside of my cards, usually though as simply as I have done this one.
I distressed and sponged most edges of the card. Downloaded this vintage postcard image from the computer - I cannot remember which site now! Added the seam binding ribbon, half pearls and antique brad (with the back cut off). You may not be able to tell, but I printed out another copy of the postcard, cut out the pink daisy only, and raised it using dimensionals over the daisy on the postcard.
TFL!

Beautiful shabby chic card, Sue. Love the digi print that you found to be the focal point...and them complemented it with a sweet floral DP and other feminine touches.

Beautiful combination of shabby chic elements here..love the postcard girl and that green and pink dp for the bg. The pearls, the seam binding, and the fancy brad are the perfect accents...you know how to do shabby chic my friend ;)
