For Karen's Color Challenge this week - "WILD PIROUETTES ON THE SAHARA"....
I got as close to the Sahara Sand as I could by using a paper called, Cement, by PaperSource. I stamped it with JustRite (Floral Flourish) and embossed with a fine pearl embossing powder.
My Wild Wasabi and Pink Pirouette are picked up in the leaves and a little stronger pink in the flowers. Since the flowers are watercolored I think there's a hint of the lighter shade of pink.
I loved using the fun and playful Dancing Leaves die by Penny Black. I thought they paired up nicely with those sweet Artful Blossoms from Simon Says Stamp.
Thank you Karen for the wonderful color palette this week. So glad I had a chance to play.
Warm spring hugs to all!
