I love shabby chic, but confess that I'm not so good at creating it. Karen, I love, love, love this color combo. So soft and feminine. My card base is sahara sand. My 3 mats are sahara sand, wild wasabi & pink pirouette which have been embossed using the square lattice folder. I then distressed two of the edges and sponged with sahara sand ink. I colored my image with SU markers, huffed and stamped. I then distressed all four edges and sponged sahara sand ink on the edges and ever so lightly on the image. I cut my butterfly using my Nestie die and then ran it through the square lattice folder, added some antique pearls and popped it up. TFL ladies.

Your card is lovely, great job! I'm not comfortable with shabby chic style either, it's hard for me to find the balance between enough and too much. The embossed butterfly with the beads is the perfect touch.
