Due to my lack of technical ability, I avoid challenges that call for linking to anything. That means that there have been so many talented artists that I not only admire for their talent, but that I consider as friends, who I have not been able to compliment by participating in their QFTD or FS challenge. I just had to try again since Jody is so talented and writes the nicest comments on so many cards. I am way out of my comfort zone... like running down the street naked ... on the fourth of July ... with all the neighbors sitting on their front lawns waiting for the fireworks. Not only am I linking to a card, but I used heat embossing on a large bg stamp... I have difficulty with heat embossing. Here is the card I CASED...MMTPT349 A Whole Garden by jodylb at Splitcoaststampers of cutting the bottom edge, I cut my image in half. I kept the idea of a large bg stamp colored brightly, but I used watercolors. I loved Jody's idea to die cut tge sentiment from the scraps from her colored image. I did not have ant scraps, so I did a watercolor wash and die cut the sentiment. I also put this in the WT527 since it uses a watercolor bg. For the F4A269 I chose spring flowers instead of April showers.
You are amazing Jody... you deserve to be Queen.

I really like the way you have cut the panel and added the sentiment in the middle. It reminds me a bit of a TLC challenge a while back. The floral panel is amazing, it makes me think of a fabric print.

Oh Francie, I adore this! Thank you so much for making a card, and putting in the link! I am so honored you did that for me, despite the discomfort of running down the street naked, LOL! And heat embossing, too? Wow! Love the stamp you used with the sentiment panel cut out of the middle. The background colors are fabulous with the blue flowers - it really is rather like a fabric print. Love it!

Your work with color captivates me every time Francie! What a beautiful tribute to Jody and kudos to YOU for the link! Took me four years to figure that one out! Beautifully done and love the watercolor washed sentiment!

I love everything about this, starting with the card you chose for inspiration. Your card is vibrant and happy and fun, and I especially loved your technical tenacity with linking and embossing.
