My son asked me to make a thank you card for one of the girls that had been helping them build a tree fort, so I told him to go down and pick the stamp set(s) he wanted to use, and this is what he picked, he helped me come up with the lay out, I just gave him a few suggestions along the way and told him what things I had avalible. The kids love helping me design cards and see what they had in thier minds come to life in a card. The thank you from Alphabet Soup is done with the dazzling diamonds techinque, and the tree is colored with crayola colored pencils and then I used a stump and turpenoid to do the Magic Colored Pencil Technique. He also wanted some type of Easter tie in as it was Easter, so we did the egg for a background. I had fun with this card. It is the first time I have used that ribbon and also the first time I got to use the colored paper clips from Target. He said the girl loved it and couldn't believe it was handmade. Both he and I signed the back, which he thought was awesome..lol. Overall it was a fun card to make and got to try out some new things!

It was so great to read how your son was involved in the design process for this card!! It sounds like he really put a lot of thought into all of his choices. TFS!
