This is my first attempt (and it may be my last!!!) at stencilling. I was enjoying myself till I rested my arm on the ink pad without realising it and spread lovely dark green ink from one end of my work place to the other - including my clothes and the table. I didn't realise I had it on my arm - and cleaned the table quickly but promptly put my arm back down on it - again it was nicely inked with dark green. The green ink is hardly noticeable - if you don't look too close and will fade (I hope when it is dried). I don't know how it reach the table - because I had lots of layers on craft mats underneath. I guess you learn new things every day - like put the ink pad high up on the table away from arms etc.
I am probably pushing the CAS theme again but hope you are not too hard on me.
Enjoy.

Beautiful!!! Love your stenciled vine!!!! Gorgeous image. Your story made me smile. I ruined my BEST butterfly attempt by getting paint thumbprints on the card for my entry today! I am thinking about cutting out that butterfly and using it on something!! Lydia has a GREAT video on her blog today where she also has a little mishap with paint. The mark of the artist, I guess!

I hope one of the things you can learn is that there are really no mistakes in artistic expression. I know what's it like, and I'm sure everyone else does too, to make a major snafu like getting ink every where, but oh the result is just delightful. What a beautiful card and very very CAS to boot.

Beautiful! Oh, the trials and tribulations we go through for our art.... We've all done something like that one time or another. It's not nice to laugh at other's little disasters, but it is kind of funny - right?
