Wow, it has been super long since I've posted... or stamped! I finally got my guest bedroom/stamp room back in working order today and I had to sit down and use it! I decided what better way to stamp, than to participate in the Color & Sketch Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.
I bought this stamp set like 2 years ago... I'm not kidding... it never has been used. WHAT THE HECK!!?? It's a super fun little set and is perfect for any type of birthday or celebration card. I knew I wanted to use it today. It's called Sketched Birthday and surprisingly is still current and available for purchase from Stampin' Up!
Anyway... the color challenge this week was a BINGO format.. you could choose and BINGO formation to come up with your colors.
I went for the first row on the left: So Saffron, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantalope, and Soft Sky. I picked that one for several reasons... #1 I had all of the colors and #2 I have never opened my Pistachio Pudding or Crisp Cantalope supplies... WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
I think my card came out pretty cute, don't you!?
I hope to be back more often... I know I've said that many times.. but really, Stampin' is my therapy and I need it!

What a lovely all purpose birthday card this is! I like your delicate shading on the cake. The addition of that gorgeous ribbon and the brad attached sentiment banner to the sketch really kicks it up!

Good to see you back. When I saw your name, I was thinking it had been a very long time since I saw you here. Your card is really cute. I love the dp and the layout.
