Sabrina's April Showers challenge is perfect for this day in northern IL! At 3 a.m. the thunderstorms started and they have been intermittent since. Yep, here comes the thunder ... again. When I was a child, to clam my fear, my G'ma used to tell me that the thunder was just the angels bowling. I miss her.
So ... I made my "rainy" card with an IO bkgrd, Stampotique Raindrops by Magda Polakow, Stamps of Life grass, and Stampotique Dwindled by Daniel Torrente. I used Ranger blues, SU greens and Prisma coral/pink for the dress and yellow for the flowers. With the exceptions of a bit of Crimson red for the hair, 25% gray for the shoes and a lilac/purple bow, I tried to keep the colors (yellow/green/coral/blue) on the first row down, on Tuesday's CC Bingo (saffron/pistachio/canteloupe/sky) chart. I am also adding my card to the LRS416 challenge gallery.
Thanks for looking! :)

What a lovely way to describe thunder! I actually never minded it - but we don't get storms here like I've seen in Europe, ours are more gently. Your background and those raindrops are wonderful, Gabby. I love the way the bunch of flowers she is holding just glows with sunshine despite the rain!
