For Mary's challenge today of bingo colors, I used baked brown sugar, Bermuda Bay, crushed curry, and cajun crazy (as close as I could get). Bundled this together with Angie's CAS challenge of making a masculine card.
First card made with my new MISTI and wow does it work wonders!! Moved my white card stock just 1/4" with each stamping to get the three aligned stamps of the brush.
Combined all of the colors and stamped four times over the dragon fly. Better visual in person, you see just accents of each color.
Would have had to start over again if not for the MISTI. I had not inked my sentiment up enough and it was very light. Re-inked and wow right on!!
Does it sound like I am sold on the MISTI - you bet!!
TFL!

The slightly adjusted stamping of the same image in different colors really gives the branches movement, Ann. Beautifully designed CAS card with the expanse of white space only broken up by your sentiment and dragonfly.

I knew you got your MISTI out. So did I. Aren't they the greatest things ever? It stamped your multi-colored sprays beautifully. Your design is top notch.

So glad you are enjoying that misti. I never thought of just moving the paper to get the shadowing. Thanks for sharing this tip. Great take on the challenge. Fav'd tfs
One of these days, the planets are going to align and I am going to place my order! Something keeps happening each time I try! Your image looks fabulous with the 1/4 inch shadowing!

Wow that couldn't have been easy to make those leaves side by side like that! But you did it perfectly and it looks beautiful! Lovely card!
