IC487 - challenging us to be inspired by 'our own' previous card, home decor, or scrapbook creations! For me I recently sent a card and loved it so much that I wanted to create it again so today was my chance. Here is my card that inspired me to create it again: For You Just Because by Shoe Girl at Splitcoaststampers. Now the picture of that card did not do it justice but IRL it was very sparkly and had a great antique feel to it.
I kept the antique feel and brought it up a notch with the burned effect on the edges. I added more color this time and updated the banner too. Same layout, still has butterflies but this time they have color. I also added a vine that was cut out of green and then I sponged on two other greens and added sticklels. I also shaped the leaves and the butterflies.
The banner is a spellbinders die and I popped it on dimensionals and added pearls.
Thanks for looking!

Lisa, I absolutely love today's card although your original is just as stellar. Adding the glitter and sentiment was wonderfully creative to today's card. Just perfect.

Wow - way to go girl!! This is stunning and beautiful. I love the butterflies and I love the way you stickled the edges of the leaves and that tag die is so cool!!

I really like your antiqued background! Those burned edges really look great. Are they really burned? ...anyway the panel makes a great base for your colourful butterflies and vine. Great uptick on the original!
