As the 'Big Orange Freak' mentioned just this morning it's been a while since I used these flowers from that gifted designer Mr. Rocky Meow-boa! (refer to previous flower uploads here WT466 Love Rocky Meowboa by Mrs Noofy at Splitcoaststampers for an explanation and introduction to my most gifted cat!) LOL The vellum is punched with an SU punch then embossed with the swiss dots folder and sprayed with my water spritzer. As it drys the vellum contorts in various directions ..same goes for the leaves. Finally sponge ink on the reverse side and use the sharpie to add some dots to the front of the flower. The cute flower chain die is from Poppy Stamps and the leaves are of course from Nellie Snellen double punches.

Thanks for explaining your process. I am trying to learn some techniques with vellum and appreciate the sharing. I love your card. You've got some serious skills!

Glad you are featuring your artistic kitty again...I would recognize Rocky's work anywhere. As a collaboration you and Rocky do gorgeous work. Love the shading on the flower and the dotted embossing. Did you know that that vellum from Sandi makes great release paper for die-cutting? That is, if you can wrest it away from Rocky.
I'm like Beverly in that I am learning to work with vellum. Love the technique you explained, also the colors (orange is a favorite), & the way you did the curves. Lovely card. Thank you for sharing.

Your vellum flowers are always so fabulous! Beautiful coloring on this one, and a wonderful interpretation of the sketch!

Oh my, that vellum flower is wonderful! I'm so "neat" that I'd find it hard to conceive of deliberately wetting my vellum to let it cockle - but I'm going to have to try this!!
