OK, everyone, I KNOW St Patrick's day is over, but it is still March when I bring this challenge to you, so bear with me!!
This week is the last Tuesday of the month, so our tickle cards are going to fellow tea potters. and our theme is the Emerald Isle, and the story of Finn O'Flanagan.
I chose to showcase the beautiful green Irish countryside, with shamrocks and of course, the leprechaun, Finn! For my sky, I added some embossed and die cut clouds, and then I cut several layers of green papers like the hilly countryside and sponged them with LOTS of GREEN. Next I stamped and diecut the shamrock/clover image from ODBD and die cut it, adding lots of green copic colors to bring out the beauty. Since I did not have a leprechaun image, I copied one from a card Sallie sent me and hid him behind the cluster of shamrocks, and popped it up on a "WOBBLE" - just for FUN! Also pierced all around the lower part of my card front.
Hope to give some teapotter a big smile next week when we mail these out. Hope you can join us for this challenge - go HERE to sign up now!

INSERT 2 FUN THINGS - from my trip with my DH, back in 1996 - first, our guide told us we were coming up on an Irish traffic jam on one of the narrow roads - we could not imagine how such a narrow road could have a lot of traffic on it - actually was a herd of sheep crossing the road that held us up for quite a while!! Second, my DH came up with a theory, that all the sheep and goats must have 2 legs shorter than the other two, so they could stand upright on the steep hills!! He had the whole bus in stitches with that one - even our guide was laughing!

Now these are lovely rolling hills of Ireland. What a neat idea with the different papers. such a cute little leprechaun peeking out of the bushes, and a beautiful sunny day to play around in. Thanks for sharing and the fun challenge. HUGS

What a hoot! I don't remember Ireland looking quite like this but the irish are known for their embellishing stories! Your card is sweet and creative. Love all the details, Sue.

Oh my, Sue! Those rolling hills of lovely lush green have me hankering for a trip to the isle. I cased some for a chicken card the other day, but they are nothing like this!! Your wee little man tucked behind his shamrocks leaves no doubts as to your location. Love your stories and if I ever get across the pond I'll have to check out the legs on the goats;)
