Hi there everybody! I thought I would share the card I made for today's new stamp release at Power Poppy! Today's set is Simply Camellias and it is definitely a show stopper. I chose the smaller image from this set and paired it with one of the fabulous sentiments that is included. I stamped my image, colored it with Copics and then fussy cut it out. Next, I built my card base and layers using several die cuts. I gold leafed a few of the layers, dry embossed one layer and then for the final layer I stamped a portion of the larger image in the set while the paper was masked by the die and sponged some ink on it. Next, I stamped my sentiment, and adhered the panel and my fussy cut camellia. Oh, I did use Glossy Accents on the bowl and let it dry before adhering it to my card. We would love it if you could check out all of the release goodness going on over at the Power Poppy Blog. You can see more details and photos of this card on my blog. Thanks so much for taking a peek and I hope you have a great day!

Wow, this card is really spectacular! All those luscious layered frames, tinged with gold, and then the BG panel softly sponged and stamped to provide the setting for the stunning camellia - your coloring is perfect - love the little glass bowl it sets in - what a gorgeous card!
