I do not paint in any way, shape or form, much to my frustration, but I thought maybe I could do something for my background that would be acceptable and showcase my stamp nicely. I did not want to colour her especially, so this worked for me. I mixed the inks with rubbing alcohol and just started brushing the paper, adding colours as I went. Once dry I then did a wash with diluted picked raspberry over the card. I then added Crystal Effects with the raindrop stencil, but unfortunately it does not show up in the picture, IRL it is very nice. I then added the sequins, I just love something to finish, and silver/pink iridescent fit the bill today. I had lots of fun, and I have a friend who will love my card, so she will get it. She lives in British Columbia, she is fashionable and she loves things that are different. Thanks for looking...

Wow, Kia, this is so cool. I love the bright colors.... not what you would expect for a rainy day. That is what I like about art. You can make a bright, happy rain scene. The bg is so perfect for this image. What a gorgeous card.
