This was an exciting adventure. I am on vacation and brought along, of course, card making things. Sometimes you get so excited about leaving that you forget and just lose your mind. I think I did that. I brought several inkpads, but no stamps. So I did have some stamped images and the little girl gardening was one of them. I colored her and the flowers with water color pencils and cut the words out of a magazine I brought along. The pretty lace was from a demonstrator at a stamp fair a couple years ago. She was showing me a punch and asked if I wanted what she punched. I took it. To use it up felt good. I am looking forward to watering my own flowers when I get home.

Carol, stamping on vacation with limited supplies and you came up with this! I love your fussy cutting of the words from a magazine! It looks like a die cut! The image is adorable and I love that piece you rescued from a show. You really can work with anything!

You brought ink but no stamps? Yikes, that's exactly that I would have done, too. In the end, it all worked out well though. This image is darling. I love the black die and magazine cut out. Great job. Now go enjoy your vacation.
