hi there,
Here is my card for the WT challenge today. Linda asked us to determine if we are a 'tortoise or a hare' when creating our cards. Well for me, most of the time I have to be a hare since I have limited time while my little daycare kiddos are sleeping.
This card took me under 30 mins to make especially since I was drying the Bisters with a heat gun after spraying with water.
Linda asked us to share some hints if we had any. One tip would be to use Stazon ink when stamping over a painted surface. I find that I get a dark enough image that way. I find if I ink my stamp with Versamark ink first it is easier to clean off the Stazon ink.
The other tip I would give is not to over-think the whole thing. I used to do that all the time and it used to stress me out. Play and have fun!
Thanks for looking,

edited: I have had people telling me that they are finding the Bisters to be messy. I haven't had that really. I didn't poke a hole in the top of my little containers but instead I scoop out a tiny bit using a dry paint brush. You could do this all in a box and spray with water in the box to contain the mess but I haven't found it necessary to do that.

GORGEOUS, Karen.....combining the vibrancy of the Brushos and the more muted colors of the Bisters make for an eye-popping combo.....of course, with a BIG DOSE of your artistic talent! This watercolored bg is spectacular! Thanks for tip of Stazon when adding your images on top. (Hate the clean-up with that ink, but if that is what it takes....so be it) So glad to be your neighbor today, mf : ) Glad we are in the Hare Society together.

Such a gorgeous card, Karen! Would you please share how you use bisters without the mess? I seriously am so clumsy with them I made one huge mess and have not had the courage to try them again! But your card sure makes me want to break out the bisters again!!

Karen, thanks for giving us this beauty today, and all the great tips. You sure know how to work that new medium. Adding the white gives it another dimension. Great advice to just let it happen...not to over think. Fav'd Thanks for playing in the challenge.

Oh my goodness Karen, this is gorgeous!! I ordered the bisters and just haven't gotten around to trying it yet. Thanks for the awesome tips. You got beautiful results here. I quite often am trying to put too many ideas into one card. If I would work a little quicker, I would realize I could make more cards and utilize those ideas. Thanks for sharing!! :>) Into my favs too. :>)
