Anne's last challenge for March to the CCEE Stampers (yikes, where does the time go!!) was to use a lamb or a farm animal, thinking of March going out like a lamb. I've wanted to make a more feminine version of a recent TPT card with these stamps, and this is it. Kathleen, this little lamb is for ewe ;-.
For Linda's ingenious WT524 Tortoise or Hare, this card is a hare: it actually only took 45 minutes, including several false starts of stamping the sentiment twice on vellum (didn't use), somehow stamping it too high the first time I stamped the verse on the card base, and still not learning from that that I needed to use Archival ink because of the embossed grass. So - verse was stamped 5 times in total, and I did a grassy panel 3 times .
Stamped grass using Peeled Paint and Memento Bamboo leaves, embossed with clear EP.
Stamped and embossed the psalm.
Sponged in the clouds.
Added the stitched border lines.
Used the negative from a grass die and added green acrylic paint for short grass in foreground.
Stamped and fussy cut PB stamp (Butterflies and Ewe) - feet stuck to card, some foam tape under body.
Finished off with Liquid pearls on the grasses and for the flower.

Love your "hare's" version of the 23rd Psalm with this simple grass and adorable little sheep embellishing the verses - the simplicity makes it endearing and a great source of comfort, just as it was meant to be!!
Now for another innocent's version - turn up your sound for this one!
