I made this card for the Clean & Simple Challenge, CAS317, Bulbs or Bulb flowers (3/23/15). The stamps used here are from an ancient SU set called Little by Little. It is so ancient that there isn't even a SCS gallery for this set! The set consisted of bunches of different flower stamps that could be put in the pot, along with a wheelbarrow and other gardening stuff. It was a very cool set when it came out and is still one that I pull out from time to time because the flowers are timeless in design.
I used watercolor pencils to color the flower panel, and also to do a wash of color on a scrap for the tiny tag that is mounted behind the sentiment. The only fiddly thing about this card was the paper piercing on the label panel. I always hold my breath when doing paper piercing, it never seems to fail that when I am nearing the end, I pierce somewhere I shouldn't and have to start again. So if you are wondering why that tiny tag is placed where it is, wonder no more! Ha...
Happy spring everyone and thank you for dropping by to look at my tulips!

Ha! The tiny tag looks like it's perfectly placed for visual pleasure! I'm always covering up my booboos with a banner or something. Your piercing looks fabulous as does the entire card. Very pretty watercoloring.

Looks like and sounds like a great stamp set to hang on to. This card turned out beautifully! The colors are nice with the clay pot and the EF is sort of tulip shaped and fits perfectly with the image!

Oh I love this one. I have one more old stamp to use in the USEIT2015 challenge for my current set. This is a super cute layout for it. I may just need to CASE this one. Thank you for the inspiration.
