Who knew you could shrink craft foam?! Jennifer McGuire, that's who! I used the same design she created for her OCC demonstration card, but substituted dies for what I have. I also used the Ellen Hutson Pin-Sights Challenge image to help me pick color schemes - fabulous black and white and gold sparkle. I just got the whole new set of Bold Blooms/Bold Blossoms by Julie Ebersole in the mail, decided to give it a go. Darnell has NBUS Challenge #4 going... not that I needed any added incentive to use this fabulous new set.
To make this card, I cut out a ton of the MFT "thanks" die. White on white is a challenge - please ignore the gold ink smudge couple of other stray smudges. I embossed the MFT diagonal stamp with Gold EP on Black card. I used the same gold EP to make the plain gold strip of paper.
Then for the fancy new technique - fun foam?! I die cut the beautiful flower and leaves from the EH set out of white and black fun foam. Did the same with another "thanks" in black fun foam. And then you hit it with your heat gun to shrink them. I colored the white flower with the Brilliance Gold ink to make it fit the color scheme. Fun! But need some practice on staying neat and tidy
