F4A265 - All Black...I really wanted to do a Steampunk card and when I saw this challenge I knew exactly what I was doing and just needed to get home to do this card. The Gear EF was used on black paper then 3D stamp paint lightly brushed on top. Then the girl was colored in copics and added to the Gear EF. I distressed the edges of the Gear EF and the grey. Then I added two die cut gears that are on glitter paper to add some extra fun embellishments. I have held off on the sentiment as I want to give this to my niece and her birthday has passed so I might just mail a Just Because to her.
Thanks for looking!

What an awesome card, Lisa. The bg is amazing... so creative. Great coloring on the girl. Your bg idea worked so well for this challenge. The added sparkly geard look fantastic. Into my favs.

You are just too darn creative, Lisa. Your caption, steampunk mechanic, caught my eye immediately. She's definitely a mechanical girl on that EF and your fabulous coloring. I love this card!!!! Yikes, can't you just see the smile on the recipient's face when they see this one? Very cool, girl.

Ha! I DO like this!! I have a couple of mechanics in my family. Either one would enjoy this card. They are male but your image has a certain appeal I would say! :-) Love how you made the background look so metallic. That EF is perfect for your theme. Great card Lisa!
