***edited to add a disclaimer that using Work of Art for a boat is not original to me. I have seen this set used in so many clever and creative ways, I couldn't possible remember them all but this one stuck in my mind from cards I approved in the moderation queue when the set first launched ***
This is for this week's WT523 Triple Play challenge from Cathy which you can find HERE
And for Anne's challenge to the CCEE Stampers this week, where we are featuring weather.
For my weather I have depicted the wind, with the sentiment and the stamped flourish.
I have three colours, three layers, three different stamp sets, three different mediums (ink pads, liquid inks, paint).
I used Versafine Sepia and Fired Brick distress ink to stamp the boat, then sponged in the sea with Stormy Sky. I masked all that off and used two blue inks and a spray diffuser to spritz the sky. Stamped and embossed the flourish, stamped the sentiment, and distressed the edges.
Sponged the base layer with red and spattered it with white paint. Next layer sponged with Stormy Sky, and then the final mat layer was sponged with brown. I added some more white spatters (for sea spray) over the bottom part of the image panel.

What wonderful creativity! I love the way you formed the boat from stamps not intended for that purpose! Fantastic stamping, masking, and sponging. A real virtuoso piece! Love it!
