For today's MMTPT346 Layers, Layers, We Must Have More Layers challenge. I used layers and die-cuts all the way, except on the inside when I stamped a butterfly and used Jenn's TLC525 Mirror Mirror challenge, to mirror my butterfly.
Spellbinders Labels and Majestic Labels 8 cut from white card and green whitewash Core-dinations.
There's something I don't get about the middkr white die that I used, which only embosses the label shape, and cuts the fancy bits. If I poke out the bit that I left in at the bottom and top, then there's nothing left to hold the little curved bits and they all fall out too - so I left them in even though it looks wrong.
To save fussing around with cutting another base - those dies are fiddly! - I used some clear cardstock. The smaller green layer was embossed with the Birdsong ef and sanded.
Memory Box butterfly, with Stickles and some silver gel pen on the white layer.
I chose a very detailed Stampavie clear stamp to use for Jenn's technique, which gave me a great impression when I mirror-stamped with it - that bottom butterfly is not touched up at all!

Oh my goodness Sabrina this is so beautiful. I love all the layers and the clear card base, what a brilliant way to showcase the gorgeous dies. All of you butterflies are terrific, I had a major fail trying that technique LOL. Straight into My Favs!!
