I finally thought I would try a 4 color challenge. I've had this SU stamp set for 3 months now and though I've been able to make a couple of cards at make and takes using it, this is the first card of my own design using my virgin stamps. For fun I thought I would make the butterfly a 4 layer affair, two layers of paper, blue vellum and a butterfly charm on top. I worked to keep the weight of all colors even with white being the dominant tone. I found a steal of a deal on some closeout Jolee Charms. This butterfly charm has butter enamel to match the yellow. There is alot of shimmer and sparkle on this card but it is a soft affect not overpowering. Shimmer is always so difficult to photograph. I think I might pop off the smokey rhinestone for a clear. I like the overall balance of color and subject matter. I love this sentiment, I think it is what pushed me to buy the set Thanks for visiting!

Tracy, this is beautiful! You placed your colors well, and the stacked butterflies look so pretty that way! The butterfly charm is sweet - lucky you finding a deal on pretty charms!
