This week's Ways to Use It challenge is called "Lucky Charms" - make a card that shows what you feel is your lucky charm.
I have always loved stars - the ones in the sky, stars as a motif, etc. And I think of them as something special to me, so probably they are the closest thing I have to a lucky charm.
The sentiment I used is perfect for the challenge as it talks about wishing on a star. And in keeping with the "charm" idea, I added a tiny gold star charm, hanging on cord from the sentiment label.
The background is a stencil made for me by my friend Loll Thompson, on her Silhouette cameo. I used gold embossing paste with it, and while the paste was still wet, I randomly sprinkled with fine gold glitter - the stars aren't covered with it, but there are just little splashes of glitter here and there - looks better IRL!
The sentiment is heat embossed with a mixture of a few gold embossing powders to get the colour close to the embossing paste colour.

Beautifully done and I love the added bits of glitter randomly added to the start. So perfect for the challenge. Thank you for playing along with my Lucky charms challenge. Hugs!
