I provided a watercolor wash to the sky and painted the trees using watercolor paints. I then created the fields of flowers with acrylic paints using the colors for Tuesday's challenge. No matter how hard I tried, I could not capture the detail of the flowers with my camera. Now you may ask, how does this painting fit with the Ways to Use it Challenge "Lucky Charm?" Well, my lucky charm has always been a small smooth pebble that I carry in my pocket. I have carried it throughout my adult life wherever I go. Now, a card with just a stone would have been difficult to make interesting so I painted a pebbled country road in spring!

A wonderful piece of art, Kate. Since no stamps are mentioned, it makes it even more special...that you created this lovely scene yourself. Your command of many mediums is beautiful. A lovely lucky charm.

Gorgeous! I like your take on the challenge today. This beautiful scene reminds me of the saying: "The road to a friend's house is never long." The flowers are so pretty. Nicely done! TFS
