I actually used an old technique for coloring parts of this image. I used the lid of my ink it up ink pads (green and yellow) (cheap $1 pads I have had for YEARS) mashed the lid into the ink and used water and paintbrush to watercolor paint the yellow chick and the yellow-green grass.
Then I got to cutting.
LOTS of fussy cutting for this one
I used the MIX-ABILITY POP IT UP challenge which was so much fun! I haven't had much practice with this technique. Mine is not as detailed as the one in the example, but I tried ;)
And I used the Color Challenge CC521 - lagoon, daffodil, strawberry, and pear. Extra - use flowers.
I used patterned paper flowers, hope that counts!
