Dessert is a flower (not stamped)
At first the colours had me wondering. It was such an unusual colour combination - but once I coloured my image using the colours - it all just fell into place. The stamp is a new one (well I had never seen it before) which arrived in the mail this week - I thought that it might be rather difficult to stamp up because of all the detail - but it was just so easy to stamp and turned out nice and crisp - specially the dark border around the edges.
I made a gelli plate background which included some of the challenge colours - green, yellow and a touch of pink and then matted the image up with stronger colours.
Dessert was a flower (not a stamped flower) so I improvised with a feather flower and some pearl bling.
The little bird was coloured separately, fussy cut and added afterwards - raised up on foam dots.
Hope you Enjoy.

Your card is GORGEOUS!!! I think this challenge was one of the most difficult for me in a long time. I just could not think of a way to combine these colors. I also didn't know how I was going to do flowers without stamping them. I love your gel plate bg and your awesome coloring. Your bird and feathered flower are lovely. GREAT job!! :>)

this is really pretty Helen-love the new stamp-and your gelli plate background is fabby!! I like how you interpreted the dessert option - there are feather flowers-they are created using real bird feathers - you just did it with stamps and pearl centers-creative idea!!

Helen, you combined these colors in a lovely way...stressing three of them and just touches of the 4th. The "partial "feather flower" was a clever way to include dessert. A striking card.
