I remember the day when I thought I had to add ribbon to nearly every card I created. Now I rarely use it! The CAS Challenge is asking us to use ribbon, but I decided to leave the bulky bows behind and went for a striped background instead. I took a scrap piece of white CS and placed scor-tape over it about 1/4" apart. Then came the fun part of choosing and laying down the ribbon! To get perfect placement of the sentiment, I used my new, favorite stamping tool - the MISTI.
STAMPS: Bitty Bouquets (PTI), Swoosh (PTI).
PAPER: Hawaiian Shores (PTI), White.
INK: Lucky Limeade, Tangerine Tango.
ACCESSORIES: Satin ribbon by PTI, Stitched rectangles and circles dies by Lil Inker Designs, MISTI tool.

I really like the way you used ribbon. I rarely use it because I have dealing with bows and they are so bulky. I ribbon and am going to CASE your idea.
