I thought of this stamp as soon as I saw this Zebra canvas: http://static.greatbigcanvas.com/ima...78.jpg?max=540
I have had it for probably 12-15 years and it was virgin rubber...I know, I'm bad.
It was NOT easy to color. I thought I was going cross-eyed trying to figure out the maze that was his stripes. I don't know if most Zebras are white with black stripes but this one definitely is. Maybe that was the artist impression, I am not liable for false info on Zebras! Some say they are black with white stripes! Well, if they are like horses, the hoof color says alot about their skin color...I'll just say that!
This gives the impression that a camera was half in and half out of the water. Pretty cool I guess but not really easy to translate...now I know why I had never used the stamp! Heehee!! I have a drawer ful of African stamps, beads, embellies and paper...at one point I was really into it. But don't ask me about my 3 drawers full of Asian, etc, etc, etc.
Thanks for looking!

Beautifully inspired, Robin! I adore this zebra and his reflection even though it was not easy to color! Such a wonderful scene, and the beads are pretty cool too~

Well it is very cool Robin!!! Might be hard to interpret but you did it beautifully! I should send you my giraffe stamp that also has never seen ink. I fortunately didn't go in to it with a drawer full, but we all have those untouched unloved stamps that need to come out and play. So glad you did as I really do love this! Great job coloring it!!!

WHOOAAA! What a work of art, Robin and I LOVE that stamp! They had the best ones, didn't they? I can see where it would be hard to color but what a fabulous job you did! The water, the fish, the zebra, ALL of it. AND you found zebra striped beads to boot! Amazing card!
