This week's Winter Wonderland challenge is "tie a bow". And the suggested theme for this month's SCS Christmas Card Challenge is trees.
I stamped my trees in green and heat embossed, then flicked masking fluid on the cs, and then sponged around the trees in blue, totally forgetting to mask a snowy ground. I kept the piece anyway and added some glitter under the trees (and on the branches). And luckily the masking fluid was quite thick at the bottom, and the addition of a white sentiment helped distract from the "blue ground". I thought it pretty apt to use my "winter wonderland" sentiment for the Winter Wonderland's challenge
I trimmed the piece down to tag width and used the SU scalloped tag punch at the top. I added ribbon with a bow to tag, adhered it to an embossed background, and popped that up on my card base.

This is beautiful Susan and your tree looks so real! Two hard things to do on this card. The first is tying a bow! The second is flicking masking fluid without hitting walls, windows and everything else. You did a fabulous job of both. Love the embossed background on this one!

So pretty. Love the snow on the trees. You've really mastered using the masking fluid. Love the embossing on your card base ... adds even more texture. xx
