I used only the focal image of Nancy's card. I wanted to keep my card very CAS. I used a similar holly theme, replaced Nancy's gold colouring around the image with my use of kraft cs, and widened the borders around the image.
I couldn't remember what the medium is for painting inside the white embossed image before adding colour, so used watered-down white acrylic paint - not the best results so must do some research next time - or if anyone wants to suggest an alternative, please do. When the white acrylic paint was dry, I painted on top of it with watercolour paints. Fussy cut the image and bordered with a stitched edge square die and mounted on white.

Darn, I was going to ask you what to paint inside the white embossing. It looks like it turned out wonderfully, but maybe not so easy to add the color on top of the acrylic. Still, it made for a stunning effect against the kraft and red!
