This is for February's 2 page sketch challenge (link below) designed by Cheryl (Motherload). I just love it & may use it again. I found the perfect photos from our visit to Watkins Glen, NY last year. The patterned DSP has bright green which went well with the trees in the photos. The boot prints are left over from another layout by The Paper Loft. I substituted animals (we even saw a snail on our hike!) & tree branches for the hearts & fussy cut them from the DSP. I even added a few I hadn't planned...the owls on the left page in the upper left are covering DSP I tore while removing adhesive. On the right page, I didn't like where I started "Trail" so I added a branch & another squirrel to the left. Like they say "there are no mistakes in scrapbooking just the opportunity to embellish"...I like that! TFL!

Super cute! Love all the earth tones, the fun title font, and the cute animal embellishments. Way to go on the sketch and on turning "mistakes" into opportunities.
