I can't seem to stop playing in today's MIX108 challenge. I forgot I had this birch die from Taylored Expressions and just had to make a card with it.
On a kraft base, I sponged white acrylic paint. I added a white cardstock strip for the snowy ground. I sponged more white acrylic paint onto a scrap piece of kraft, and cut the birch with a die from Taylored Expressions. I highlighted these trees a bit with Copic markers.
On text from a text book, I stamped the cardinal from A Jillian Vance Design with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is also from A Jillian Vance Design and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.
I sponged some Scattered Straw and Wild Honey Distress Inks onto the panel to create the sun.
The scene was framed with black and white cardstocks.
Thanks so much for a great challenge, and thanks so much for looking!
