Dina's MIX Challenge was called Brown Paper Collage. I started with Kraft, stroked on some white acrylic washes. Then using a stencil that I made with a die, proceeded to sponge in the layers of buildings. Washed on some more white then added the die cut buildings in the foreground and the die cut sentiment.

What an eyecatching card. The script sentiment and die cut buildings look terrific. It reminds me of a hazy day in the city. The shadow and angle of the sentiment really looks good.

Looks like the fog settling on the city at dusk - very cool look with the wash,, and I love that you used the newsprint for the buildings and "hello" - very eye appealing, Sallie!!

So very cool! Wonderful depth in the background, and I love the black panel with the dots punched out of the bottom. Making your own stencil worked beautifully!
