No, I'm not stuttering, but thought it was kind of fun that all my elements/techniques started with "B" so I have a Brown Bag, Bokeh Background, Bookpage birches collage going on here! I started with my brown bag piece-used a foam brush to layer a coat of Gesso over it first. I then made my snow hills in white paint. I tore my book pages and used an Espresso dauber along the edges. I used a dry brush to add the brown bands horizontally then used another dry brush to add white paint. I set these aside then worked on the Bokeh bg. I started with blue gelato by daubing circles on then using a slightly damp finger to blend them in. Next, I added the Spun Sugar daubed circles and blended them. I used a blue and then white dauber to add more circles. I also added a bit of definition to my hills with the blue Gelato. To adhere my birches I used my finger to spread Gesso over the back of the trees. After they dried in place, I added a bit of white acrylic snow at their bases. Gail;, you did several cards for this challenge, but this is my favorite. Love the pinks and blues of your bg and then the lovely white birch trees on top. The text print along with your painting gives the trees great texture.
